This is a fantastic waterfall. It was extremely full, even during a stretch of dry weather. Some of the waterfalls we have visited are really full in the early spring and after heavy rain but tend to slow to a tickled during the summer and the dry weather. Finding ones that are still flowing heavily in the summer isn’t rare but it means they are incredible to see when the water is really flowing.

The Trail
There is a trail on the Northside of the bridge that leads down to the waterfall. This trail isn’t long but can be very steep in areas. At the end of the trail, as it approaches Crow Creek, the hill becomes very steep. There are ropes set up to help you down into the ravine. Beware that this can be muddy after it rains. Once you are in the creek, it is more or less impossible not to get your feet wet.
This isn’t what I would call a high-endurance hike. You just need to make sure you are able to use the ropes to get down to the creek without breaking your neck. This is not a hike for little kids, teenagers should be okay. I have heard that this waterfall is on private property but is open to the public. There are no posted signs or private property signs and clearly, it is being visited frequently.

Waterfall
Waterfall chasers will love Attica Falls. This is a 60-foot cascade that is unbelievably gorgeous. This is most definitely a picture-worthy site and well worth the climb down the ravine. There is a shallow pool at the bottom of the falls. Not exactly great for swimming but perfect for wading on a hot day. There is a place near the top of the trail where you can view the waterfall from above but it is clearly not as impressive as seeing the falls from the bottom. If you walk towards the bridge, there is also a small waterfall there as well.
Getting to Attica Falls
Attica Falls is located on Cascade Rd
From US-20 W Turn left onto Molasses Hill Rd (2.2 mi)
Continue onto Vernal Rd (2.8 mi)
Turn right onto Plowe Rd (2.3 mi)
Turn left onto Attica Gulf Rd (0.8 mi)
Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Jillson Rd, when you cross Hall Corners Rd the road changes names and becomes Cascade Rd. (0.9 mi) The Falls are located at the bridge that crosses Crow Creek. You can park on either side of the bridge (but the trail is on the north side of the bridge.)
