People from around the world flock to the Finger Lakes Region to embark on wine-tasting tours. Seneca Lake has the largest number of wineries around it, with a whopping 35 wineries. With so many choices, what makes Bagley’s Poplar Ridge Vineyards stand out? I will tell you…wine slushies. Not just any wine slushies, but a rotating selection of unique and delicious flavors.

Tastings & Wine Slushies
Of course, wine tasting is the key component of a visit to this winery. Guests can choose 5 wines to enjoy in a wine flight. Servers will be available to guide tasting and answer questions.
There is a rotating menu of wine slushies available. You can also purchase a souvenir glass as well. It was their wine slushies that initially interested me in visiting this winery (and the bear glasses.) We visited on a day when they were serving a scrumptious orange creamsicle wine slushie. Clearly, that was my selection and my husband got the peach, which he loved.
There is a great outdoor deck with tables and rocking chairs that overlook the winery property. There is also an indoor seating area. While you are enjoying your wine or wine slushie, you can also have cheese and crackers or other snacks.

Visiting Seneca Lake with your beloved four legged friends? They are welcome at Bagley’s (as long as they are well-behaved and leashed, of course).

You probably already know that New York State only has one national forest, The Finger Lakes National Forest. What you might find surprising is that this national forest has a small parcel of land that sits on Seneca Lake and it is spectacular with waterfalls, a historic building, and a beautiful section of lakeshore.
