Roadside waterfalls are some of the best destinations to visits. You get the excitement of seeing a beautiful waterfall, but you don’t have to overexert yourself trying to get to it. Somedays the idea of walking down countless steps into a gorge to see a waterfall and then having to drag yourself back up those steps just is not appealing. Honeoye Falls is a stunning waterfall with zero steps to climb.

The Falls

Honeoye Falls is always flowing regardless of the time of the year and how low the water table is, and it is exquisite. There is a red building just next to the falls on one side, and it just seems to add just the splash of color and contrast that is needed to really make the falls appear even more spectacular. More importantly, this is a nice waterfall to visit because it often gets overlooked. People are so concentrated on visiting all the other notable waterfalls in and around the state that they forget that this one is here. I have never seen a crowd at this waterfall.

Vest Pocket Park

Vest Pocket Park is located on W. Main St. You can see the falls from both sides of the creek and at the bridge but the park on W Main St. has the best view. Since the falls curve in this direction, this is the best side to see it from. There are also benches and places to relax and taking in the falls in your own time.
