Seems like pickles are taking the world by storm. Everywhere you look there is a new pickle food sensation, like deep-fried pickles, pickle chips, and pickle pasta salad just to name a few. A Webster, New York Pizzeria has created another pickle masterpiece, the pickle pizza. I know, pickles aren’t everyone’s “thing” but if they are yours… you are going to love this pizza.

The Pickle Pizza
We have two pickle connoisseurs at our house. My kids can power their way through a jar of pickles like nobody’s business. In fact, my son’s two favorite foods are pizza and pickles. The pickle pizza sounded like something that just might be up his alley. We decided to take the leap and order one from Rhino’s and see what we thought of it.
The Rhino’s pickle pizza is famous! People from all over the United States and different parts of the world have come to Rhino’s to try this unique specialty pizza. There is a map on the wall that has pins marking where people have traveled from.
I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the idea of a pickle pizza, but I was willing to try it for my pickle lovers. I wasn’t brave enough to order a large pickle pizza all by itself. I decide to order a medium pickle pizza and a large pepperoni. When we went to pick it up, they gave us a free order of boneless sweet hot wings because they had made too many. That right there stuck with me. Businesses usually don’t just give away free food, even if they did make too much.
We all immediately pounced on the pickle pizza when we got it home and it was great. My son thought it was about the best thing he had ever had in his life. I don’t know if I am ready to swap the pickle pizza for pepperoni pizza, but we will definitely be ordering it again. For those of you who like to dip your pizza in blue cheese or ranch, we found that it goes well with a side of ranch dressing.

You might come to Rhino’s Pizzeria for the Pickle Pizza, but you’ll come back for the huge selection of specialty subs and brick oven pizzas. Rhino’s has 35 different specialty subs that are as unique as they are delicious sounding. These subs have some interesting combinations that look fantastic. Incidentally, Rhino’s has a convenient online ordering system. You can even pre-order, with scheduled pick-up or delivery, and pay online as well.
Rhino’s makes their own specialty garlic sauce (which they use in a great many of their subs and pizzas, including the pickle pizza. You can purchase this sauce, as well as Rhino’s Hot Honey Garlic Sauce and Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce, in the store or from Rhino’s Etsy Store online-Rhinosauses.
