Do you ever just get a craving for some killer BBQ or pull pork? But from where? You don’t want some soggy mediocre BBQ, you want something that is over the top delicious. While there are lots of BBQ places in New York but there is only one Heintzelman’s BBQ Pit. This outstanding BBQ restaurant has drawn us back on multiple occasions because its food is simply scrumptious.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again, I love good food. I can’t resist a restaurant with something special that makes me want to eat there repeatedly. Heintzelman’s BBQ Pit has mouth-watering food that is just out of this world.
New York’s Best BBQ
We have visited Heintzelman’s quite a few times, and each time I try to order something different off the menu. We visited this last time because I was dying to have some of their scrumptious pull pork load fries. Seasoned french fries loaded with smoked BBQ pull pork, BBQ sauce, nacho cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. My husband had them the visit before, and after getting a taste, we swapped dishes because they were seriously the best.
My husband had the smoked cheeseburger that came with two sides, coleslaw, and smoked baked beans, and he loved it. Almost everything at Heintzelman’s, from the mac n’ cheese to the burgers, has been smoked. Heintzelman’s menu is stocked full of smoked meats and BBQ. BBQ lovers will love the combo platters that combine several smoked meats with a number of your choice of sides; many of them also smoked. Portions at Heintzelman’s are always generous as well as delicious.
Recently, we tried their lobster mac n’ cheese. It was completely delectable. Honestly, this might be the best lobster mac n’ cheese we’ve ever had. This specialty dish is only available on Friday nights.
Enjoy Great Atmosphere
Heintzelman’s Restaurant seats 90 people within its two dining rooms. There is also a small bar where you can enjoy a drink while you wait for pick-up orders. We happily sat and waited for our order and chatted with the bartender. There is such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Heintzelman’s. Their motto is Where Friends become Family, and this seems completely appropriate. The staff works hard to make sure that everyone has a great dining experience. They want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. When my husband got his cheeseburger, our server noticed that he didn’t get jalapenos on his burger and immediately fixed it. You have to appreciate that level of customer service.
Catering
If you have an event that needs catering, Heintzelman’s BBQ Pit has you covered. They offer an amazing and extensive menu that will perfectly coordinate with whatever event you are hosting. Although you might not consider BBQ elegant enough for a wedding or fancy occasion, the choices available can be as swanky and top-shelf as you require, such as seafood and steak.
