Enjoy Beautiful Seneca Lake
While Lodi Point State Park is primarily a boating park, it is also an amazing place to spend some time on the Lake. While swimming isn’t technically allowed here, there are no rules against wading. This point is also a phenomenal place to check a sunset.
This is an excellent picnic spot with picnic tables and grills throughout the park. Many of these picnic areas are right along the lakeshore. There are two large playgrounds the kids will love.
We visited on a lovely spring evening, and the park was deserted. We came for a sunset. While we didn’t get the sunset we came for, we got something even better. While the sky was covered in clouds, the setting sun created an amazing effect on the water. It was completely mesmerizing.
Boat Launch & Marina
There is a great boat launch at Lodi Point with multiple ramps. There is also a marina with boat slips that can be rented either seasonally or overnight. There is a large parking lot that can accommodate a large number of vehicles with trailers.
