If you have been following us for any amount of time, you have probably guessed that we love waterfalls. Not to say that we don’t love all of New York’s wonderful attributes too, but we just find waterfalls to be magnificent. Especially when they are truly something special, like Marcellus Falls located on Nine Mile Creek.
Roadside Waterfall
Not all waterfalls require a long hike down into a gorge to enjoy their splendor. Some of the prettiest waterfalls we’ve seen have been perched right alongside the road, with no steps required.
Unfortunately, like many of these roadside waterfalls, Marcellus Falls is located on private property. While you can’t get out and explore the waterfall up close, you can enjoy a fantastic view from the bridge, from the comfort of your car.
