The Capital Region’s only Jack-O’-Lantern festival, returns in a new an exciting format known as “Hollowed Harvest: Wicked Labyrinth”. The Hollowed Harvest: Wicked Labyrinth features hundreds of intricately carved Jack-O’-Lanterns that offer a new twist on the magic of the Hollowed Harvest. Experience amazing carvings, a stunning Jack-O’-Lantern tunnel and playful animations come to life right before your eyes – all at a new location in Schenectady, NY! Please note this version of Hollowed Harvest is a different experience than the outdoor variety.
NEW THIS YEAR – we are proud to introduce our indoor variety (a fan favorite in other locations) and optional hands-on pumpkin carving where you can roll up your sleeves and get into the spirit of Halloween by carving your very own masterpiece!

Corn Maze at Samascott Garden Market
Explore this 7-acre corn maze.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
Opening day: Saturday, September 10th, 2022
Dates: The corn maze will be open on weekends in September & October, plus Columbus Day. 11 am, last entry at 4:00 pm
Price: $9.00 (includes tax). Children 4 and under are free.

Haunted Saratoga Ghost Tours
Come walk with us and discover the ghosts of Haunted Saratoga. Hear the stories that have lived on in our city for hundreds of years. The will enchant, entertain, and perhaps even scare you. Our 90-minute long walking tour will take you in search of the countless ghosts rumored to haunt the city. Total walking distance is less than a mile, covered at a very leisurely pace so that you can enjoy the Saratoga’s many infamous ghosts and haunted locations.
We are very respectful of the spirits we will encounter along the way. You will hear about and perhaps even meet Old Smoke who, it is said, haunts the old Canfield Casino, Angeline, known as the Witch of Saratoga, Hattie, who has been known to make appearances in her restaurant since her passing and several other spirits.

Dr. Best House Paranormal Investigation
The Dr. Best Museum has been investigated for paranormal activity over the last ten years. Due to its history and evidence captured by investigators, this museum continues to be investigated year after year.
As if awaiting the return of Dr. Best from a house call on his horse-drawn carriage, this home and medical office captures the elegance of a bygone era. Serving as a doctor’s office in a quintessential, rural American community from 1884 -1991, the museum echoes the progression of a quickly-changing young country. The expansive collection is unparalleled in the country as the items were all owned, used and loved by the Best family with hundreds of bottles, automotive memorabilia, carriages, clothing, quilts, stocked kitchen and avant-garde medical equipment all waiting to be explored.

The History & Symbolism of Greenridge Cemetery
The History Museum’s Director of Education, Jacqueline Bunge, will lead a walking tour of notable gravesites and discuss the history of the many symbols found on the gravestones, monuments and mausoleums in Saratoga Springs’ Greenridge Cemetery. The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and is limited to 25 participants. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the cemetery grounds and varied terrain, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Meet at the Sackett Gate entrance on Lincoln Avenue.

VIP Ghost Tours of Canfield Casino
The Saratoga Springs History Museum is hosting 1-hour VIP ghost tours of the Canfield Casino Monday, October 30, beginning at 5pm, starting every 20 minutes (pick your ticket by time slot), with the last tour beginning at 6:40 pm.
The Canfield Casino is one of Saratoga Springs’ most historic and haunted buildings. The Casino was featured on the SYFY Network’s television show Ghost Hunters in 2010, and in 2019 was named number 4 in the top 10 of America’s Most Terrifying Places on the Travel Channel.

Scary Harry, the iconic ghost cowboy of Double M, has a horrifying experience awaiting you yet again this year. Your journey will begin with a true Haunted Hayride on a tractor-drawn wagon, winding through the dark woods that are rumored to be filled with spirits and creatures of unimaginable beings. At the conclusion of the hayride, your journey will continue on foot into Brutality, a post-apocalyptic compound. If you escape Brutality, our brand new attraction Blood Moon Farm awaits you – watch for what lurks among the rows. Next up is The Last Inn, a residence that is known for a disappearing guest or two and a vicious staff. Then enter the land where every holiday is cursed – Fear All Year. Your final destination is Slaughter Swamp, a dangerous environment straight out of the bayou. The screams continue in the midway area with our interactive Feartainment.

Ghost of Saratoga Guided Trolley Tour
Saratoga, including the second floor of the famed Canfield Casino. Pursue the stories of Saratoga that make the city a portal of paranormal activity. Led by local historian Charlie Kuenzel, the stories are derived from research by noted ghost hunter David Pitkin and other paranormal investigators. Zombie Zip-Lining
This tour is not for faint of heart. Your nightmare begins with a corpse-guided tour along a serial killer infested forest to then be hauled into the trees among complete, utter horror. Once in the trees you will be launched in complete darkness … alone, afraid and vulnerable … along a screaming steel cable hundreds of feet along Mountain Ridge Adventure’s awesome Zip Line Park.
Imagine being alone 70+’ in the air, in total blackness, not knowing how long the zip line is or when it will end, to then be caught by an evil ZOMBIE as you land in horror. But wait … Mountain Ridge Adventure’s zip line park has 10 zip lines. After your first fright flight on zip line #1 you will be begging for mercy but by the time you reach zip line #10 you just may have to change your clothes (diapers available upon request).
