Saturday with Santa at Allegany State Park
The holidays are fast approaching and there’s no better way to get into the spirit than by spending some time in Allegany State Park. Join the Environmental Education Department on Saturday, December 3rd for a fun, festive, family event- Saturday with Santa!
The big day starts at 11:00 a.m. in the Red House area of the Park. Stop to hang a couple of ornaments on the big tree in the Red House Administration Building, write a letter to Santa and have some cookies and hot chocolate. Camp Allegany, site of Santa’s Workshop, is open from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Make crafts, design your own button, play games, take pictures in the festive photo booth, take part in the Allegany State Park Historical Society coloring contest, and eat lots of cookies and hot chocolate! The Red House Picnic Area Shelter will become a winter wonderland to make Santa feel at home during his short break from duties at the North Pole. He will be greeting and taking photos with children from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Don’t forget to make your way back to Camp Allegany for the announcement of the coloring contest winner at 2:45 p.m.

Victorian Christmas at the Olean Bartlett House
Take a trip back in time with a Victorian Christmas at the Fannie Bartlett House in Olean, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Watch the Santa Claus Lane Parade before or after touring this beautifully restored mansion built in 1881 with 15 rooms, including a third-floor ballroom.

Christmas Through the Village
Christmas Through the Village in Findley Lake returns December 2-3. Enjoy Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Wagon Rides, and hot cider.

Light Up The Point
Bemus Point’s 2nd Annual “Light Up The Point” is Saturday, December 2nd! Capture the spirit of the season with this community event! Find holiday fun happening around the village all day long. Specials, events, sales and more. Decorate your golf cart or vehicle and join in on the fun! This is an evening parade, where you help “Light Up The Point” with your fun lights, glow sticks, and decorations! The parade will end at the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Main Street where we will all gather with Santa Claus to officially light the Village Tree.

Jamestown Jingle & Mingle and Light the City Parade
The City of Jamestown will launch the holiday season with a Jingle & Mingle Festival, Activities will include live music in Tracy Plaza, showing of the movie The Santa Claus at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, and more. The day will culminate with a Light the City holiday parade at 6pm across Third Street in downtown Jamestown, followed by a fireworks display.

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
1st annual Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Wagon Rides will leave from and return to the parking lot behind the Village Park with rides lasting 20-25 minutes with a new ride every 30 minutes and each ride can accommodate 10-15 people so if you would like to schedule your group ahead of time. Throughout the ride we will enjoy hot cocoa and Christmas music, but make sure to dress warm.

Hometown Holidays Santa Parade
Santa will kick off the 2023 Hometown Holidays celebration by riding the firetruck down Main St. He will end the parade at the library lawn to light the Lions Club Fantasy of Lights Trees. Santa will visit with the children in front of the library while waiting for the fireworks to begin at 6:30pm.

Santa Claus Lane Parade
The Santa Claus Lane Parade is always the highlight of the holiday season, attracting loads of people of all ages to downtown Olean. The parade will begin at Delaware Avenue and North Union Street, will use both sides of the street as it did since 2018, and proceed south on North Union. Santa and Mrs. Claus will have their traditional countdown of the lights coming on at the intersection of State and Union.

Visit Santa’s Cottage
Santa Claus will be back in the Town of Olean at his cottage in Lincoln Park. Kids can leave letters for Santa in a mailbox outside his cottage created by families of the EvenStart program. Kids will also receive a small treat from Mrs. Claus!
