🧀 The 12-Cheese Tasting Adventure
This was hands down one of the best tasting experiences I’ve ever had, including wine tastings! Get ready to sample your way through 12 incredible cheeses, each one more mouthwatering than the last. From the smooth, savory Dilly Girl, which is a delightful blend of dill and garlic, to the bold and unforgettable Red Buddy, Muranda’s cheeses are packed with flavor and character. My personal favorites were the Checkerboard Cheddar, which has a nice peppery kick, and the Jalapeno Pepper Cheddar, featuring just the right amount of heat!
The staff here are fantastic; they guide you through the tasting with pairing tips and suggestions on how to use the cheeses in recipes, making the whole experience even more memorable. Let’s just say I came home with a lot of cheese!

Enhance your tasting experience with a selection of local Finger Lakes beverages, including wines, beers, ciders, and my personal favorite—wine slushies. You can enjoy your drink on the covered deck, which overlooks the picturesque pastures. It’s the perfect spot to relax, sip, nibble, and soak in the vibrant vibes of the Finger Lakes countryside.
I loved the entire atmosphere of Muranda from the moment I walked through the door. Twinkling lights and American flags adorned the ceiling, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff is friendly and makes visitors feel right at home.
🛍️ More Than Just Cheese
In addition to tastings, Muranda features a delightful shop filled with their cheeses, local jams, honey, and artisan gifts. It is the perfect place to pick up souvenirs. You can purchase all the cheeses you sample in the cooler located in the gift shop.
In the Summer, Muranda offers live music to the public from 2-5 pm on the weekends from Memorial Day- Columbus Day. We were also told that on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, they serve piping hot artisan grilled cheese sandwiches made with the best combinations of the Muranda’s Cheeses.
