If your adventures should bring you into the vicinity of Honeoye Lake, do yourself a favor and take some time to stop by the Birdhouse Brewing Company for some excellent food and craft beer. We have wanted to try this establishment for a while and finally got the chance recently, and it was a fantastic experience.

Great Food and Atmosphere
While the menu isn’t long, it is diverse and has something for everyone. We both decided to try the pull pork sliders topped with beer cheese. Talk about scrumptious! That beer cheese was just incredible, and it put these sliders over the top and into the hall of fame of my favorite meals.
What really struck us was the crowd this brewery draws. Clearly, it is incredibly popular with the locals, which tells you everything you need to know. It was a beautiful day, and the outside seating was completely full. Yet, the relaxed environment doesn’t prevent people from standing around and enjoying mingling with friends.
If the weather isn’t cooperating, the inside of the brewery is just as nice as the outside, featuring two floors and plenty of tables and room to accommodate their guests.
Craft Beers and Ciders
Of course, what really brings people to the Birdhouse Brewing Company is the craft beer and cider. We bought a crowler of their craft beer to bring home, and it definitely was some of the best craft beer we had had in a long while.

Live Music and Outdoor Markets
Check the Birdhouse Brewing Company Facebook page for live music scheduled throughout the year.
Visit the Birdhouse Brewing Company on Wednesday evenings from 5-8 pm and enjoy a farmer’s market, or on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm to visit the crafter’s market, where all sorts of handcrafted wares are available for sale beginning Memorial Day weekend.
