From September through October, fun, spooky, and festive events are happening all over New York State. I have tried to hunt down as many events as possible to make the spookiest time of year even spookier. Here are the family fun and screamtastic events happening in the Hudson Valley Region.

Discover the Mysterious History of Pine Bush
This program will invite guests to the mysterious and haunted locations that exist within the hamlet of Pine Bush. Once evening falls, guests will be guided by lantern light to these historic locations in town and revel in the findings of local ghost investigations provided by acclaimed paranormal author, Linda Zimmermann. Myths & Mysteries Guided Tour of the Armour-Stiner Octogon House

Gallery Macabre at Pine Bush

October evenings take on a spectral glow in the Gallery Macabre, an art exposition of mysterious images, moving and fixed, mystical and mythic. Artists in Hudson Valley, NY will have their macabre masterpieces on full display.

In homage to horrors past, thrill to silent films on display as Nosferatu and new ghost story produced with the Haunted Shanley Hotel is presented, scored by living musicians. The Haunted History Lantern Tour to follow after this event. Pre-registry is suggested.
