If the idea of leaving your favorite 4 legged friends at home while you explore New York State sounds like the end of the world, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We have compiled a list of dog-friendly beaches and parks in New York State.
Check back often ~ we will continuously be updating the list as we come across more and more dog friendly places, which are popping up every day. If you know of any we’ve missed, let us know.
Leave NO TRACE: Please be considerate to other visitors by cleaning up after your dog.
Dog-Friendly Beaches

There are several places that allow you to let your dog frolic on a beach or in the water. Many even have special dog-designated beaches.
Always make sure you carry your dog’s rabies vaccination certificate and always keep them leashed (unless the park states otherwise.)
