The annual Broome County Festival of Lights is even bigger this year, with almost 100 new lighted displays and holiday magic to brighten up the Season. Some nights include fireworks.

Tioga Downs Casino Winterfest
Winterfest returns to Tioga Downs this November featuring Horse Drawn Wagon Rides to view the lights, a Craft Fair and much more. Admission is FREE and there is plenty of fun holiday activities for the whole family to enjoy. November 29-December 21.

Owego’s Lights on the River
The holiday spirit sparkles in Historic Owego on Friday, December 1st as Historic Owego Marketplace celebrates its annual event “Lights on the River!” It will be a night filled with Santa, shopping, and so much more! The fun starts at 5 p.m.! Stay for fireworks over the Susquehanna River in Draper Park next to the bridge. Stroll around the village and enjoy shopping, dining, hot food on the streets, and activities around the village. Owego Whoville Theme; Costume Contest; Characters walking streets, street entertainment, and Purple Lightning Marching Band.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday Celebration
Begin your holiday season with some holiday magic with the opening of the NEW Santa’s Workshop and A Fantasy Village of Gingerbread on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Enjoy holiday activities and crafts and try our Gingerbread man and lady scavenger hunt throughout the museum! Santa and Buddy the Elf will there, and the Johnson City High School Sophisticats will perform their Holiday Show at 1pm. Save the date for a day of fun! Activities are free with museum admission.

Parade of Lights
Ring in the Christmas season with this beautiful light parade in Corning. This year includes “lighted moving displays” floats, as well as Santa Claus arriving on a horse-drawn carriage. The Parade of Lights will begin Market Street from Wegmans to the intersection of Wall Street.
