Just when you thought your winter couldn’t get any more exciting with tubing, sledding, and skiing, Holiday Valley will kick it up a notch. This resort might just be New York State’s premier winter playground. Not only is this a first-class resort with incredible accommodations and downhill skiing, it has a tubing hill with 20 lanes and the Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster.
The Sky Flyer Mountain Coaster
Zigzag through the snow-filled forest on this thrilling ride. The Sky Coaster runs both in the summer and the winter. This is an amazing ride. The cars are low and close to the ground. The course is 4,805 feet long with 15 curves. The ride takes approximately 6 minutes. You have control over the speed of your own car. Children can ride with an adult but must be three years old and over 38 inches tall. All drivers must be at least 16 years old.
The Coaster operates during the winter season from 11 AM to 6 PM, Friday through Sunday, plus holidays.
The Coaster will operate from just before Christmas through March 17, weather permitting.
Additional days of operation: December 26-December 29, 2023, January 15 and February 19, 2024.

Groups of 15 or more who are not purchasing lift tickets may ride the coaster for $6 each. Advance reservations required.
The Sky Flyer will also be open Christmas week, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day.
Snow Tubing
Holiday Valley has 20 snow tubing lanes with 3 group lanes. The tubing hill is 900 feet long and has a 100 vertical feet drop. Don’t worry about having to drag your tube back to the top. The resort has a conveyor that carries rides back up the hill. If your children are too small for the big hill, there is a special area just for the little ones to tube. Take a break from tubing at the snack bar at the bottom of the hill that has a warm fireplace to relax by. There is also a giant bonfire to warm up by. Kids must be at least 42″ to tube on the regular hill.
