It is hard to find a nice hotel that won’t run you an arm and a leg. Especially one that you would want to escape to on a romantic getaway. When we discovered Salvatore’s Garden Place Hotel, we were immediately enchanted. The amazingly detailed atmosphere of this hotel swept us into another world. You will want to plan your next romantic getaway at this extraordinarily stunning hotel right away when you see what is waiting for you.
Gorgeous Setting
What I really love about this hotel is the decor. There is extreme attention to detail that you only find at a Disney resort. It is what made me want to stay there to begin with. Once you walk through the lobby, it is like stepping into an Italian village. There are tables and a setting that appears to be a small town with balconies covered in vines and flowers. The ambiance of this hotel is incredible.
I completely fell in love with the lounge area of Garden Place. It was a very romantic place to sit and drink a glass of wine at night when they dim the lights to simulate nighttime in a small Italian village. Twinkling fairy lights above your head provide the perfect romantic atmosphere. In the morning, I found that I equally enjoyed the lounge in the morning while I enjoyed my coffee. We happened to visit when there wasn’t a lot of activity at the hotel, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves much of the time.
You will notice when you pull into the hotel parking lot, all the statues that adorn the hotel. The statues capture people and children in the midst of enjoying life. It is by far the most unique hotel I have seen this side of Las Vegas. The hotel, however, has an elegance about it, that the decor only emphasizes.
Romanticly Luxurious Rooms
The best part about the gorgeous suites at Garden Place is that they are the best deal around. I search around a lot for a really nice jacuzzi suite that was both affordable and not going to send me to the emergency room with some skeevy disease. Most of the places that looked decent were more than a little ridiculous and out of my price range. For the others that were “affordable,” I was scared to run a black light over them.
The Salvatore Garden Place extends its luxury to its suites and rooms. While the regular rooms are nicely appointed and very spacious, it is the luxury suites that are truly outstanding. There are several different suites available in varying degrees of opulence. Some are simple like the King Suite with Jetted Tub. Others are elaborate and spacious rooms like the Empress Suite which comes with a dining room and a living room area as well as a whirlpool tub.
We booked the Mini Emporer Suite which we agreed was the largest and most luxurious suite either of us had ever stayed in. We had a large jacuzzi tub, a large king-size bed, and a living room area separated by a partial wall. The room was spotlessly clean. Even though I love booking jacuzzi suites, I’m secretly a little scared of them. I am always slightly concerned with the hygiene factor. However, our room, more importantly, our hot tub, was immaculate. The furnishings were elegant and looked fairly new. In fact, the entire room looked as if it had just been remodeled. I thought the suite was a jaw-droppingly beautiful room.
Great Dining
While you can enjoy 5-star dining at Italian Prime. Better yet, you can have that gourmet food sent to your room. The menu at this restaurant is to die for. The dishes on the menu look like they came directly from the food network. Authentic Italian food with tons of surf and turf. I love seafood and this menu made my mouth water. If nothing else, order up some scrumptious dessert and a bottle of wine and champagne.
